Walk the Extra Mile

 Every year we orgnaise the Walk the Extra Mile event around Linlithgow Loch to raise funds for Diabetes UK.

Last year's walk was on  26 June 2011. The event was opened by Councillor Peter Johnston, leader of West Lothian Council. The weather was kind apart from a brief shower before we started and everyone enjoyed a pleasant walk around the Loch with lots of wild-life interest including lots of cygnets and ducklings!

Phoenix Cards

Lynn, our treasurer, sells Phoenix greetings cards which are not available in the shops and cover every occasion. 

 A percentage of sales goes to our group funds so look out for Lynn's display at group meetings. Or contact her via the contact form

Jewellery Appeal

Please donate your unwanted or broken jewellery and accessories to the Diabetes UK jewellery appeal to support diabetes research projects.

If you have an odd cufflink or earring, a watch that doesn't tick, a damaged necklace or a ring that doesn't fit, please bring it to one of our meetings and we will send it to Diabetes UK for you.
