10% Challenge

Our latest project is the 10% Challenge! The aim is to lose 10% of body weight by the end of 2015 as there is evidence that this amount of weight loss can have significant health benefits.

We launched the project 14 January 2015 and 28 members have already signed up for the challenge. We will weigh members throughout the year and publish how the group is doing on a monthly basis. Throughout the year we will aim to provide whatever support, information and encouragement  members would find useful.

We will also seek sponsorship for the group to raise funds for Diabetes Scotland and have a Justgiving page.

Update - the first weigh in took place in early February and members lost a total of 0.73% of body weight which is well on target for 10% over the year!
